The process of buying a property.

Once your purchase is finalized, your realtor's office will send the offer to purchase and all relevant documents to our office. Upon receipt of your offer to purchase we will:

  • Open a file and obtain and review a property tax search for the property.

  • Send you an introduction email outlining how the transaction will unfold and the next steps.

  • Contact the seller’s lawyer to advise them we are acting for you on your purchase;

  • Notify the City of Winnipeg property tax department and Manitoba Hydro that you have purchased a property;

  • Once we receive mortgage instructions, we will book you an appointment at our office to sign documents prior to possession; and

You will receive an email confirming your appointment, outlining appointment requirements and the amount of closing costs you will need to bring in with you to our meeting
